Stallion Reports are Due
Don't forget! Stallion Reports must be postmarked by December 31 of each breeding year in order to avoid late fees. We require a stallion report for all U.S. registered purebred Arabian stallions bred to all US registered purebred Arabian mares. Click here to download this report then mail, email or fax it to 303-696-4599. Please contact Customer Service at 303-696-4500, #2, for assistance with any questions.

The Only Way to Participate for Allocated Prize Money
Remember the only way to now participate for Allocated Prize Money is to enter your foal inutero as a Breeding Entry. If your mare was bred to a Sweepstakes Nominated Sire or your Nominated Dam was bred to a non-Arabian stallion, the inutero foal is eligible to be enrolled as a Breeding Entry (see complete rules for eligibility). Classes now provide for potential earnings at all stages of the resulting foal's life. December 31 is the deadline to enter at the $400 fee. Please contact an AHA Representative for more information at (3030 696-4500 #4 or view the Sweepstakes Program online here.

If Breeding/In-Hand is Your Passion
Have you done your breeding research and think you'll get a star? Consider entering the Halter Futurity Program. The program offers the chance for big Prize Money at both U.S. and Canadian Nationals. As long as the foal can be registered with the Arabian Horse Association, the Canadian Arabian Horse Association or the Canadian Part-Bred Association, they are eligible to be enrolled. Recent past winners have walked away with over $18,000 for the Championship. Not bad for a $165 per country (U.S. or Canada) investment. Taylor the program for your showing needs--enter U.S. Nationals, Canadian Nationals or both. Payment requires an initial inutero enrollment, with additional payments during the Weanling, Yearling, Two Year Old years. Entry into the National Shows will need to be done for the Three Year Old Year. Contact an AHA Representative for more information at (303) 696-4500 #4 or view the Halter Futurity Program online here.

Courtesy Program Renewals
Watch your mailboxes for courtesy program renewals. Billing for renominations/enrollments are sent to the owner of record each year. It is the responsibility of the owner to renominate their horses prior to the stated deadlines in the event the owner does not receive the renomination notice for any reason.

Resolution 1-11: Redefining Age Limit for Youth
Resolution 1-11 (which changes the age definition for Youth from 17 years of age to 18) was approved by the AHA Delegates at our annual Convention in November. This resolution has now been passed to the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) for approval at their January 2012 Annual Meeting. The USEF Board will now determine when this resolution can go into effect. All 2012 AHA Recognized Shows will continue to operate under the 17 and Under Youth age limit until USEF determines an implementation date. To view this resolution and the eight other resolutions passed, please click here.

Check Your Points!
If you have been participating in either the Sweepstakes Point Program or the Achievement Award High Point Program you have until January 15 to check your points online for accuracy. Any corrections after January 15 may not be included in the final tabulation for payout and awards. To view your points go to the member homepage and click on "Horse/Rider Points and Competition Records". From here you can view the appropriate reports.
